JXD S7100 Andriod Gaming Tablet Launched At $140!

The JingXing Company has just launched the JXD S7100 Gaming Tablet which would a prove a competition to Sony Ericsson's Xperia PLAY, the only dedicated Android based gaming device available till date. Though unlike Xperia PLAY, the JXD S7100 is not a smart phone. It is a tablet.

The device will run on Android 2.2 and will feature a 4-way D-pad. It has a 7- inch display with 800 X 480 resolution capacitive touch screen. Though the users cannot expect stores as offered by Xperia PLAY, this tablet would provide a great gaming experience offering a variety of games.

The JXD S7100 has an ARM Cortex A9 CPU and Mali 400 Graphics Core processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It is also equipped with a 2 mega pixel back camera, a VGA 0.3 front facing camera and HDMI out. The JXS7100 is priced just a $140. The tablet is manufactured by a China based company and is aiming to hold a place amongst the various other tablet models. The device is equipped with a complete set of gaming control pads, 4 control buttons (circle, triangle, square, x), a start and select button and onscreen controls. This gaming tablet offers a variety of touch screen games like the Arcade, Sony PS1, Samurai II, Ninja Rush, Asphalt 5, Wave Blazer, Metal Slug, Mario Kart 64, Angry Birds, Plants Vs. Zombies and Fruit Ninja HD. It also has a games center and an apps center.

There is big doubt if this tablet would ever be available for sale in the US and Europe. Though one can always import it directly from its home production country because the price of $140 makes it worth a try.
