UPS FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

·Company is looking for experienced Field ServiceEngineers for their growing service division
Job Description:
This job requires an experienced UPS field service engineer who haspreviously worked for a UPS OEM or for a 3rd Party Service Organization
·Responsible for commissioning, maintaining andproviding emergency support on power electronics at customers’ sites within theMumbai & Thane region.
·When not in field involved in preventivemaintenance, emergency response, equipment start-up and/or field modification,candidate will occasionally train at the company’s headquarters testing equipmentor rebuilding older systems.
·Discuss with technical support problems relatedto maintenance or operation of equipment.
·Candidate will participate in the development ifMethods of Procedures (MOP).
·Candidate will be local based.
Job Requirements:
·Preferably 0-3 years experience in service andability to troubleshoot down to component level on equipment such as UPS,batteries, PDU’s, STS, etc.
·Utilizes hand tools and test equipment toperform work ¸ requires excellent verbal & written communication skills& customer relation skills.
·Must be able to provide high level of qualitycustomer service.
·Must be able to complete Field Service Reportswithin a timely manner.
·Requires knowledge of equipment manufacturer’sspecifications.
·Ability to work independently and resourcefulwith good initiatives.
·Must be able to provide necessary pro-activerecommendations to clients.
·Candidate Should Preferable has a valid driver’slicense and owns a two wheeler.
·Candidate must be willing to work nights &weekends when necessary.
·Knowledge of general computer hardware &software applications.
·UPS OEM experiences a plus.
·Technical degree a plus.
Compensation:
·70% of Base salary + 30% Performance & Extra incentive based on servicebusiness
