  • Jaguar Land Rover or JLR which is currently owned by the Tata Group has today launched the Jaguar XF Petrol Variant in India. Bearing an official price in India tag of Rs. 48.3 Lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), the Jaguar XF is all set to sizzle the streets of the country. The variant features the company's smallest 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. With the introduction of this model, India can proudly say that every single model and variant available in the Jaguar portfolio internationally is now also available in India. As we take a look at the Jaguar XF features and specs, we find that the dimensions of the car are at 4961 mm, width at 1877 mm, height at 1460 mm, and wheelbase at 2109 mm. Transmission to the rear wheels is taken care by their new 8 speed automatic gearbox.

    The Jaguar XF Petrol variant claims a mileage of about 10 kmpl. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces peak power of 241PS and peak torque of 340Nm making it serious competition to the likes of the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The new Jaguar XF takes just 7.9 seconds to get to the speed of 100kmph and it supports a top speed of 250kmph.     Among the other features highlighted with the Jaguar XF are - a sunroof and on the inside there's a TV-Tuner capable infotainment system with built in navigation and a full-size spare wheel.
