iTunes Match Beta Released For Developers In US

iTunes Match Beta has been released for developers yesterday night so that the users can store and access music libraries in iCloud from anywhere. This service is just a part of the release of iTunes 10.5 beta 6.1. What this service does is, suppose you really want to hear a song and you do not have a copy of that album on your iPhone or iPad , you can just redownload the track from your account free of charge rather than having to sync with your Mac or PC.

You have to download iOS 5 Beta and iTunes 10.5 Beta 6.1 with iTunes Match and install it. Turn it on and subscribe it for $24.99.

Apple is bound to face fierce competition to iCloud from startups like Spotify and Rdio.  This beta release raises expectations of public launch of iCloud and iOS 5 along with the iPhone 5.
