Is Social Media Moderation Beyond Human Control?

I'm wondering if it's too late to moderate social media - and whether we should even be bothered about it. The thought popped up in my mind as I read the news that Wipro bagged the project to moderate YouTube's content.

Wipro will device and execute the strategies to moderate content on the site. YouTube said that it's removed about 50.2 million videos in the Q3 of 2018 because of its Channel-Level suspension.

YouTube already has ~2B monthly users and continues to get several thousands of hours of video every minute. I wonder if's even possible to moderate all such content - even with AI and Machine learning; and whether it's actually worth moderating the content.

What do you think?
