Is any organisation or electrical engineer is on the way to convert 50Hz to 60Hz supply frequency?

It's ok to be use 50 hz  frequency supply in India.But is there anyone who is trying to convert it into 60 Hz supply ? If anyone is trying for the same then how long it will go?
