IRCTC e-Wallet Scheme To Save Time Spent Booking Train Tickets In India
A lot of online ticket buyers have suffered from a problem where their login session expires on the IRCTC site and even though the money is deducted from their bank account, they do not receive a ticket. This problem is solved using the IRCTC e-Wallet scheme. The money that the customers wants to use to buy the ticket is already present with the IRCTC deposit. Therefore, he/she will not be transferred to the bank's server for payment. Using the eWallet scheme, users will be able to save a lot of time and the problem of money-spent but no-ticket is completely eliminated.
IRCTC has made it clear that only PAN card verified users can register for this scheme and in case of ticket cancellation, the due refund will be credited to the e-wallet account the very next day. The folks over at IRCTC have also announced that the scheme has got good response since its launch in the second week of this month. With approx. 4000 registrations already for the scheme, we can say people in India are really embracing the idea.
