WhatsApp voice calling feature is now available to all the iPhone users. The app update version 2.12.1 introduces the much awaited WhatsApp Calling feature on iOS to let you make phone calls to your WhatsApp contacts. The feature was initially rolled out globally to all the Android users making all the iOS users feeling left out. The WhatsApp voice calling feature has, quite surprisingly, been one of the most awaited feature by majority of the WhatsApp users. It doesn't do anything new, and rivals like Skype have been offering voice and video calling feature for a long time now. WhatsApp calling adds a 'phone' icon to your whatsapp contacts and you can make an Internet call to your contact by tapping on it. You will still have to be connected to the Internet using your 3G/4G data pack or a strong wi-fi signal to use the feature. While many of you may continue to think that these calls are 'free', the data charges will continue to apply.
