iPhone 5 In India - Likely On Airtel, Vodafone & Aircel

During the recent iPhone 5 launch, we were waiting for Tim Cook to announce inclusion of India in the global iPhone 5 roll-out plan. Though Tim Cook says that he loves India, our country isn't certainly on his priority list for Apple products. While the earlier rumours hinted at the possible Diwali launch of the iPhone 5, folks at #-Link-Snipped-# are reporting that the phone might be launched earlier. BGR has learned from various sources that leading telecom companies - Airtel, Vodafone and Aircel have began placing orders for the nano-sim card that's exclusive to iPhone 5.

Apple may launch iPhone 5 in India around mid-October. According to Apple's current plan the iPhone 5 will retail in 9 countries starting September 21, followed by 22 new countries on September 28 and eventually 100 countries by the end of 2012.

We're not yet sure about the price of iPhone 5 in India. We however want to ask our readers whether they'll buy the iPhone 5 if it's priced more than Rs. 40k? Share your opinions and answers through the comments below.
