IOC maintained, RIl new inclusion to the Global top 100 companies
Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries (RIL) increased their revenue and just managed to get their entry (Rank - 99) to the top 100 global firms in the Fortune 500 list of world's biggest companies by revenues along with State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (Rank - 83). These are only two Indian majors that got listed in top 100
Besides, Indian Oil Corporation and Reliance Industries, the other Indian majors to feature in the coveted Fortune 500 list included state-owned BPCL, HPCL, SBI, ONGC and Tata Group firms, Tata Motors and Tata Steel.
Anglo-Dutch energy giant Royal Dutch Shell maintained their the top spot this year as well, knocking off Exxon Mobile and US retail titan Wal-Mart.
