Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ Offers Android Marshmallow and VoLTE For Rs. 5490
Intex Technologies had remained dormant for the past couple of weeks. Today, it has kept with the status quo and released a smartphone on Friday. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ made a debut on the company website. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ is the successor of the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1: Android Marshmallow On A Quad-Core Processor For Rs. 5,599 which was launched last year in August. Sadly, the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ does not have the key feature for which its predecessor was famous for, Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ is being marketed as the smartphone with Intexâs range of Value Added Services. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ has a few preloaded apps which aim to make the customerâs life less arduous. The MiFon Security suite takes care of the phoneâs security and junk cleanup. The VdioPlay app is a video aggregator app which brings you both paid and free video services. GamePlay is the in-house gaming solution and QR code has been included as well.
The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ sports a 5inch WVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution display. This makes it a less attractive buy as most smartphones in this price bracket have an HD resolution display. The pixel density is also quite low at 197ppi. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ runs with the help of a Spreadtrum SC9832A chipset that houses a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ runs Android Marshmallow. The internal memory of the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ stands at 8GB out of which 5.1GB remains vacant for the user. You can use microSD cards of up to 64GB to expand the storage.
When it comes to cameras on the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+, we have a 5MP LED flash equipped sensor on the rear and a 2MP camera on the front. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and VoLTE. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ is powered by a 2000mAh battery that can give you up to 5 hours of talk time and standby time of 250 hours. The company is throwing in a screen guard for free with the smartphone. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+has been priced at Rs. 5,490 and will be available in Black and Gold colour variants.
