Intex Aqua 3G Dual SIM Android Smartphone Priced At Rs. 3,555 In India

Intex Mobiles has launched its all new 3G smartphone titled 'Intex Aqua 3G' in India with a promise of bringing 8 new phones in the market during the next quarter. If you are wondering why would they do that? We believe they have found a hidden mass market in the low-budget segment. Priced at Rs. 3,555 the Intex Aqua 3G is in competition with #-Link-Snipped-# that fall in the similar price range. The Dual SIM (3G+2G) handset features a 4-inch screen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution.

Powered by a 1 GHz Dual Core processor, the Intex Aqua 3G runs on the Android Jelly Bean OS along with 256 MB RAM and 512MB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. On the smartphone's rear end, there's a 2 megapixel camera and on the front there's a VGA snapper. A 1400 mAh batery powers this device and the support for 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radi,o 3G, Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi and GPS ensures complete connectivity. This pretty much sums up all the basic features and tech specs of the all new Intex Aqua 3G phone.

Though the specifications are far from impressive, Intex seems to be quite optimistic about its low-end Android. In fact, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head – Intex Mobiles expressed his views at the launch by saying that the phone will offer an unbeatable browsing experience to its customers. Clearly, the company believes that the young population in India needs to stay connected and quite often a cheaper option is great if all you need to do is stay connected. The power of Android can never be forgotten.

For now, all we know is that the Intex Aqua 3G will be available in 3 color options - black, silver and white through its official website and online e-commerce portals soon. Keep a watch for its arrival and let us know what are your views on the new phone's features and tech specs in comments below.

Per me, these small budget phones can not become popular until they spend penny on the batteries.

This phone from Intex doesn't have anything for which I should spend 3555 INR.
