Instagram 3.0 Upgrade Brings Photo Maps, New Profiles And Much More!

Ever since Instagram came into the market, people have been expecting a lot of features from its upgrade. With Upgrade 3.0, Instagram has focused on improving user experience. A new geo-tagging feature called ‘Photo Maps’ has been introduced that tags the photos you have shot and displays them as thumbnails on Maps on your profile page. You would also be able to see on the map where your friends have taken their photos. But if you are worried that someone might get your home address by looking up your photos on the map, don’t be. Because this feature is optional and without the users permission it never sends your location. Furthermore, it gives the facility to delete the location of your previous photos anytime you want. Next security update lets you individually flag comments and report for spam and obscenity.

Apart from this change you can also notice larger photo grids and caption boxes. The user profiles, hashtags and location pages and Explore Tabs have been redesigned. In the latest version, you no longer have to click on the “Load More” icon photos will be automatically loaded when you scroll down. The upgraded application is available for download on the App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android.
