Insta7 Free Mobile Application Suite Runs On Any Phone With GPRS

Insta7 is the new free mobile application suite that runs on any mobile phone with a GPRS connection. Developed by Ajit & Khoj, the mobile app suite currently offers 18 pre-loaded applications and choice of 8 more downloadable apps from the Insta AppStore. These apps include - Wikipedia, eHow, latest news, FB & Twitter, Cricket live scores etc. The team believes that only fraction of Indian citizens have access to Internet because of various reasons like computer illiteracy, affordability of computer systems and smartphones etc.

However, over 800 million Indian users have mobile phones with them and most of them are GPRS capable. Over 20 million new subscribers are being added to the list every month. With such a large population of mobile users, it made sense for the developers to build a mobile suite with apps that anyone can use, easily. The founders say that most of the websites are not optimized for mobile browsing and watching stuff on regular 3" screen is real pain. Insta7 offers a solution by offering all frequently used services through a single spot, include the best information sources in it and optimize the content for every screen size.
