InnoTruck Is Spaceship Like Truck From Future
A lot is being researched and developed to address the possible transportation needs of humankind and a major part of it is being devoted to design. For those of you who won't be able to attend international trade fair MobiliTec between April 23-27 at the Hannover Messe, won't have the privilege to see the 'InnoTruck' - the truck from future. The InnoTruck is an outcome of the project 'Diesel Reloaded' that demonstrates how radical shifts in automotive, IT & energy related technologies can be used to answer the societal trends and needs.

Research team led by Prof. Dr. Gernot Spiegelberg of  Technische Universität München, Germany is working on this innovative project. The researchers envision the future of mobility that goes beyond just the shift from fossil fuel engines to hybrid or purely electric powered vehicles. The InnoTruck will become a small scale 'smart grid' that stabilize regional-scale energy networks that will rely increasingly on the fluctuating inputs from renewable sources of energy. The vehicle will become 'mobility partner' and adapt to the driver's capabilities and behavior; making the vehicle work with the driver in different driving conditions.
