INFY won this award in the innovation and excellence category. One of the biggest problems in Indian education is that there is close to none connection between the industries and the academia. Infosys solves this problem to some extent with their popular Campus Connect program by fostering direct connection between the software industry, colleges and Universities. The company is trying to build strong foundations especially among engineering students to align engineering talent with modern industrial needs.
