India Gets Moto Xpress After-Sales Service At Customer's Doorstep
In a first, Motorola India has declared that its customers will be getting after-sales service at their doorstep with a new service called 'Moto Xpress'. If any Motorola device owner is facing an issue with their smartphone, all they have to do is call the Moto Xpress Service Booking number, which is '011-41717124' so as to lodge a complaint. A Motorola representative will arrive at your doorstep to either fix the issue on spot or pick-up the device depending on the problem. The company claims that software & accessory related issues will be sorted then and there, whereas if it is a hardware problem, the representative will pick up the smartphone, take it back to the service center, fix it and bring it back to you in 5 working days.
Motorola has announced that this service is being made available in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon as a pilot. The customers in this region will be able to avail this service for Rs. 199 per service.
We have to note there that, Motorola has about 160 service centers across India and is planning to expand its reach even further on this front. Recently, the company set up a 'Moto Care' center in Bangalore for after-sales support and service. This is a brand new 3000 sq. ft. wide space and one of the largest in India.
It was also recently in news that, Motorola is looking into the various options to set up a manufacturing facility in India. It seems that the Make in India initiative may be giving this a big boost.
