RPM or speed of motor depends on load and back emfAre you sure? This action cannot be undone. -

E=pi*z*n*p/(60*a)
pi= phase
z=no of conductor
n/60= rpm
p=no of poles
Emf depends on Load current so if load increases load current increases and there by the speed varies in itAre you sure? This action cannot be undone. -

Also we can use VFD's (variable frequency drives) to increase or decrease the RPM by varying the frequency.
Synchronous speed=120*f/p
f=frequency
p=number of poles of the motor.Are you sure? This action cannot be undone.
