Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) has been organising the IMTEX Exhibitions showcasing metal working machinery and equipment in both metal cutting and metal forming segments. IMTEX has become the largest such show in South & South-East Asia. It attracts large domestic and international participation from Europe, USA, Japan, South Asia & China. IMTEX 2007 had 1187 exhibitors from 25 countries displaying a wide range of metalworking and allied equipment over a net area of 30,000 sqm.
A combined IMTEX was inadequate to do justice to the vast developments in forming technology. IMTMA therefore decided to hold metal cutting and metal forming shows in alternate years. IMTEX 2009, focused only on metal cutting and allied equipment, attracted 940 exhibitors from 25 countries. Despite a diffcult economic situation, IMTEX 2009 was highly successful in attracting over 77,000 business visitors and generated business enquiries worth Rs. 50 billion.
The frst Forming show, IMTEX FORMING 2010 will exclusively show case the latest forming technologies not only for metals but also for plastics and other engineering materials like Composites and Ceramics which fnd wide application in engineering products.
IMTEX FORMING 2010 will host 3 pavilions:

2.Poly Form 2010
3.Future Form 2010
Concurrent with IMTEX FORMING 2010 IMTMA is also organising Tooltech 2010 international exhibition on Dies & Moulds, Forming Tools, Machine Accessories, Metrology & CAD /CAM.
Each of these shows will present the latest machinery, equipment, processes, tools, accessories, software and raw materials and feed stocks required by manufacturers to produce formed parts.
