What is IES ESE or Indian Engineering Services Exam?
Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) conducts the Engineering Services Exam or ESE 2019 is an entrance exam for graduates who wish to work under the Government of India in the sectors of Power, Telecommunications, Railroads, Public works etc. The examination consists of a written examination followed by an interview for personality test.

- Candidates expected to register for IES 2019: Over 2 lakh

IES 2019 will consist of 3 stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
- Personality Test/Interview.

How to apply for IES ESE 2019 examination?
Candidates are required to apply Online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in.
This is an important note:
The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the Examination. The e-Admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC website [www.upsc.gov.in] for downloading by candidates. No Admission Certificate will be sent by post. All the applicants are requested to provide valid & active email i.d. while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.
