We have had lots of cheaper Android tablets including the #-Link-Snipped-# and others which have tried to capture the Indian market but nothing seems to be more impressive than the recently announced iBerry Auxus AX02.

The Chennai based manufacturer has previously launched two Android based tablets, BT07 and BT10 around September 2011 and now iBerry is ready with their new Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) tablet for launch next month. The tablet claims to be the cheapest ICS based tablet though we feel that Nova 7 is still the world's cheapest Android 4.0 tablet.

The iBerry Auxus AX02 may not be as impressive as some of the tablets from Samsung or HTC but has got some specifications which can be given a nod at the price point of Rs. 10,000. The tablet features a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It also sports a 1 GHz processor which includes a dedicated graphics engine as well. the Auxus will have a 1 GB DDR2 RAM and a support for microSD card of up to 32 GB. External ports includes mini USBs and support for 3G modem and also HDMI connectivity. Further features to be announced during launch.

Interestingly, the company will offer a one year on-site warranty for the product which means if something goes wrong with the device, representatives from the company would be available at your doorstep for servicing and repairs. This seems quite the catch and may be one of the reason for you to have the Auxus AX02 launching next month.
