iBall Unveils Andi 5G Blink 4G For Rs. 6299 - Features Android Marshmallow

iBall revealed their new 4G phone under the Andi series named 5G Blink 4G. The phone features a large 5 inch display with FWVGA (Full Wide Video Graphics Array) resolution. That means that the phone has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and bears an aspect ratio of 16:9, which isn't the best but reasonable as the phone just costs INR 6299.

The Indian company is known for the production of cheap yet durable computer peripheral and consumer electronics. Lately, the company has focused over tablets and phones, especially the Andi smartphone series. It's unclear whether the phone is already on sale or not, as that remains unspecified by the company.

iBall has, however, released the specifications of the phone on the iBall - generation i, and mentioned the price of the phone to be INR 6299. 5G Blink 4G is a dual SIM phone, with both the SIMs being #-Link-Snipped-#. However, the phone lacks the support for #-Link-Snipped-#(Voice over LTE), and that's a bit disappointing as other options at this price are willing to offer the same. iBall promises a downlink rate of 150 Mb/s (Mega bits per second) and uplink rate of 50 Mb/s.

The company is giving a free protective cover with the purchase of this phone. The phone is powered by a decent 2300 mAh Lithium ion battery. iBall has however not disclosed the standby time for the same. The phone is run by Quad Core 1GHz Cortex A53 64 bit Processor, combined by 1 GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8 GB of in-built storage (ROM), expandable to 32GB via microSDs. The phone sports a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera, also with a LED flash.
