Yet another new entrant in the price range Rs. 5,000 - Rs.7,000 is iBall. With its new Android smartphones iBall Andi 4U Frisbee and Andi 5 Stalltion, the company hopes to capture the hearts of thousands of Indian consumers, who want the best of the best specs for lower costs. The new iBall android smartphones both 1.3 GHz Quad Core Cortex A7 processor and 1 GB RAM coupled with 4GB internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card). In a direct war with the likes of Moto E and Xiaomi Redmi 1S, the iBall smartphones have lot to catch up to when it comes to offering competitive specifications. Priced in India at Rs. 5,799- the iBall Andi 4U Frisbee smartphone features a 5 inch FWVGA IPS display with fully capacitive touch screen, well protected using Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Running on the latest Android version 4.4 Kitkat, the Andi 4U Frisbee comes with a 1600 mAh battery, an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash on the rear and a front camera (unspecified lens) for video calling. The other phone of today's platter, the iBall Andi 5 Stallion phone comes with a 5-inch screen IPS display with 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front cam and a 1700 mAh battery. The Andi 5 Stallion smartphone is priced in India at Rs. 6,999. Both the phones feature Dual SIM standby, G-sensor, FM Radio, GPS & A-GPS, Bluetooth & USB tethering
The phones are currently retailing on e-commerce portal eBay India. As has been the recent rend, iBall has jumped on the bandwagon of 'exclusive tie-ups' with an online portal for introducing its phone. We checked the pages of both the phones on eBay and found that the company has listed that they will shipping these phones through logistics service providers such as BLUE DART, FedEx or DTDC. They have also warned customers of not placing an order if they believe that their area (pincode) is not under serviceable area of at least one of these services.
