IACSD Pune Placements & Studies Reviews
As the CDAC admissions progress, a lot of students have been asking for reviews of various institutes. IACSD at Pune seems to be one of the most popular Authorised Training Centers for the CDAC courses. I tried looking at the placement records published on their website; however, it looks like the website has troubles loading.

I'd request all the past and current students of the institute to provide their feedback to our fellow admission seekers.

It'd be great if you could share information like-
- Which companies have recruited in the last year and are expected to visit in this year
- What's the overall package offered to the students
- How's the overall faculty and quality of teaching at IACSD.

Placement is common per region so the companies for ACTS = Companies for IACSD or any other institute in Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur.

The only difference is the faculty and the way of teaching.

As per your guidance i've opened the new thread there.,

But as far as no answer to my question posted, (I understand the tight schedule of all)
My req. is to give guidance for my C-DAC course , DIVSED (Diploma in Integrated Vlsi and Embedded Design, I've Electronics Background) . I have got the TICA-Mumbai (Kandiwali) center. Because In some time I have to pay the fees to block seat or to take part for other Rounds of seat allocation.

My Que. Is it good course to join (As In Carrier growth,job Opportunities, )??

One of my friend opted for that course in Sunbeam. He told me that the VLSI wasn't taught properly but he was extremely happy with the embedded system. He said about 4 months, they were taught ES and VLSI was taught for very short period.

Regarding placement, last time, I didn't saw any DIVESD course student taking part in VLSI companies that visited. Only the people from DVLSI was present in there. I am unaware if there are companies who visit exclusively for DIVESD or if they are giving chances in the companies for DESD; but one thing is sure that they were not given chance in DVLSI comapnies.

So did he got placed from c-dac..??
if yes, can u tell he is placed on bases of ES or VLSI..?

And in that i've got the DIVSED-Sunbeam Pune(Gultekdi) center seat.

i hav got IACSD pune,in 2nd round for dac,as i m from EC branch so will i be able to understand dac or not...how is IACSd overall regarding teachers and placement...i m not throughout 60%...so will i get enough opportunity.

He was very impressed with the teaching. He did got placed, but at very end because he didn't had 60% in the graduation. Due to that, he didn't actually got much chances, but still he made to one company.

Yes, Sunbeam have formal dress.

And also nice to hear that placement is done.😀😀

I do have aggregate 66% in B.Tech. (ECE). I think I may fit into some company criteria well. But lets see Hoping for best.

And formal dressing.. 😲😲 ??(to be frank, having only single pair reserved for interviews .. 😀)

I have also selected DIVSED. At first i was having little confusion.. But Discussion on CE, with some of CEins who have been to c-dac made some of my doubts clear.😀

So, If your asking in terms of your placement after course, than i say yes , there are many opportunity after course. And as placements are centralize , We should focus on study and tests in c-dac.😉😉

If your asking in terms of course, than I suggest you go check the syllabus on c-dac site specific to your choice and see , are you comfortable with it or not..?
Because no one can give batter answer other than yourself.👍👍

Thanks for reply, i have seen the syllabus its good though its tough to study both subjects in such duration. But afterall i myself is my own creator so its upto me.

Hi, Congratulations for sunbeam pune,
This question is asked many times., But the answer is same, If you Are ok with the Languages (C,C++,JAVA , .NET and all) , and programming than its good course (regardless of your branch though)..

While choosing DAC, did you checked and understand the modules. ?
If the ans. is yes. than you don't have to worry jaz give your effort..

If the ans. is NO., Than its not mean you can not do., Its simply means you have put some hard effort to be on top.

As per faculty, sunbeam is having good reputation (In my search on Net) and placements are centralized, however sunbeam and some other c-dac center does placement on their own too.

Yes, its hard if you are 2011 pass-out. it will be tough. If you have some experience (say 1 or 2 year )than it will smooths placement process and also can fetch you good package. But if you have no experience than you have to work very very hard to be in top 10 so your c-dac rank will suffice during placement.
