Huawei Honor 4C & Honor Bee Enter Indian Android Phone Market With Aplomb

Huawei has managed to attract lots of attention for its two new mid-budget smartphones called Honor 4C and Honor Bee priced at Rs. 8999 and Rs. 4999 respectively. These Android v4.4 (KitKat) OS running phones both feature interesting set of specifications. Ever since Xiaomi revolutionized the Android industry with offering power-packed specs phones at incredibly low prices, there has been a stiff competition among tech giants to tackle this Chinese competitor by offering high-end specs in their lower-budget phones. Huawei isn't lagging behind in catching this race either. With both these Honor series phones it has set the bar higher for itself. Let's check out the features highlighted on both new Huawei Androids in the market.

Starting with Honor 4C, here we have a 5-inch smartphone that has a capacitive LCD touch screen and a 1280 x 720p resolution HD display. The fully laminated black waterfall screen uses a combination of 16.7 million colors for sharp picture quality. On the phone's rear end is a 13 megapixel camera (with a 28 mm wide angle lens for landscape shots) and on the front is a 5 megapixel snapper. Running on a powerful 1.2 GHz Kirin 620 Octa Core processor and a quad-core Mali-450 image processor, this micro Dual SIM phone is packed with a 2 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM (microSD upto 32 GB). The company promises that Honor 4C's 2550 mAh battery will last 80 hours of light usage and up to 50 hours of moderate usage.

As far as the design is concerned, the company boasts of the Honor 4C featuring a unique ID design that gives a silky smooth touch. Moreover, the CNC diamond cutter million process has been employed to give the rear camera a sophisticated look. Not only is the hardware cool, the Android has been topped with EMUI 3.0, a unique interface from Huawei to simplify your smartphone needs.

Coming to the next phone on today's list. It's the Rs. 4999 priced Honor Bee. This is a Dual SIM phone with a 4.5 inch display having a resolution of 854 X 480 pixels and a density of 218 ppi. On the rear end of the device is a 8 megapixel snapper and a 2 megapixel front camera. On the storage front, there's 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM (up to 32GB expandable). A 1730 mAh battery powers this Honor Bee which makes the phone last for 7 hours on 3G talktime. As for the engine, a Dual Core Mali-400 Processor and a 1.2 GHz + Spreadtrum SC7731 Cortex-A7, Quad Core processor serve for the processing needs.

The design of the phone is simple and the matte finish and organic shape makes it comfortable to use and carry. Connectivity on both phones is catered to using Bluetooth v4, A-GPS, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS, EDGE, Tethering USB, Wi-fi Hotspot, micro USB v2 and 3G support.
