Huawei, the Chinese multinational smartphone maker, is proudly launching the world’s slimmest smartphone Ascend P6. With a width of 6.18 mm, the chances of this new gadget not making its mark are everything but slim. Trying to be a class apart with its amazing aesthetics, the Huawei Ascend P6 started making its raves after the company teased a video of this ultra thin smartphone, where it shows a man running through the city of London, presumably headed towards Huawei’s event while delivering the Ascend P6 in his backpack. (Check it at the bottom)

Now, along with the video, we have a few leaked images to share around. The photo that was leaked shows off a rectangular body surrounded by the thin aluminium bezel and a side key along with the power button. According to Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei, "After using the P6 more and more, I've begun to notice how nice the side keys were designed and good it felt to press them. Their positioning along the edge felt just right and natural. They aren’t protruding out too much so you don’t have to worry about the wrong button being pushed when it’s in your pocket, nor are they too flat that they’re uncomfortable to feel. We were able to find that 'sweet spot'."

Coming to the tech specs, there are rumors flying around about a 1.5GHz quad-core chipset along with 8 GB of onboard storage. There's a 4.7 inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a two megapixel front camera for making video calls. Also, of course, there are talks of a full HD capable 8 megapixel camera and the phone would run over Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. Though Huawei is holding a press event in London on the 18th of June, when we will have complete details, we can't help but keep looking for more details on the tech specs and features.

The price in India for the Huawei Ascend P6 is expected to be in the range of Rs. 20,000. But since we don't have an official word about the pricing or the availability just yet, you can relish meanwhile by seeing the teaser video below -

Apart from the design of the phone, there's nothing in it that'd make me spend Rs. 36k on it. I think Samsung rules everyone in the Android segment, at least. Show some innovation folks, and that's the only thing people will take their eyes off Sammy's galaxy series.

The specs look good. 2GB RAM with 1.5GHz processor will result in great performance. At 36k, I dont think it's overpriced, though, by looking at current market trend, they should have increased pixels on camera.

Well battery life is no way nearer to the 7Ah battery support provided by the Bitten creature

The price is relatively there in the pinnacle had the other spec lived upto the reputation then this would have been a fair game
