HTC One E9+ Quietly Listed On the Company’s Website - Specs & Features
There were a lot of rumors about the much anticipated HTC One E9 but the Taiwanese mobile manufacturer has quietly listed the One E9+ on its China website. Even after an official listing, the pricing and availability details of the phone have not yet been revealed by the company. It is expected that HTC will launch the smartphone at an event in China on April 8. The handset was first spotted by #-Link-Snipped-# on Sunday.
In terms of specifications, the phone flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD display (1080x1920 pixels) and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box with the companyâs Sense 7 UI on top of it. It is powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek MT6795M octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card slot. The device sports a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a front UltraPixel (f/2.0) camera with a BSI back-illuminated sensor. Connectivity options include 4G (FDD and TD-LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS and NFC, Gravity Sensor, Gyro Sensors and Magnetic Sensors. It packs a 2800 mAh battery and weighs 150 grams. Further, the dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) phone also features stereo front-facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio enhancements and dual-tone design with a metal frame and plastic back.
Surprisingly, there is some confusion over the final specifications of the phone as the companyâs China website lists different specifications on the features page and different specifications in the specs sheet (such as a 20-megapixel rear camera listing on the feature page and 13-megapixel on the specs page). We will keep you updated. Till then, let us know your views on this new smartphone from HTC. Share with us in comments.
