HTC Flyer Is HTC's First Tablet [Specs Inside]

HTC can't afford to leave behind when almost every mobile & consumer electronics company is launching their tablet PCs in market. HTC will soon launch its first tablet and it's called "HTC Flyer". CNET first reported the name confirmation from various sources. The tablet looks like Samsung's Galaxy Tab. Well, what's special about Flyer? Let's find out.

HTC Flyer Tech Specs:


* Technologies: HSPA – speeds up to 14,4 / 5,76 Mbps, DLNA
* Camera: 1.3 megapixels secondary, 5 megapixels primary with LED Flash
* Communication: Skype pre-installed video conferencing
* CPU / Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255
* Storage/Memory: 4 GB ROM, 1 GB RAM
* Skjerm: 7-inches, 1025 x 600 pixels, capasitive screen with stylus
* Connectors: HDMI
* Memory card: Unknown (presumed Micro-SD)
* OS / User interface: Android 2.3 Gingerbread, HTC Sense adapted for tablets [Not confirmed yet]

The tablet relies on Skype to make video calls. Note that it's incapable of making direct phone calls on GSM.
