HP Slatebook 14 Inch Android Notebook Arrives At $399 Packed With Features

HP has taken the wraps off its new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS running notebook called the 'HP Slatebook', a 14 inch screened device that is powered by a Nvidia Tegra 4 processor with 1.8GHz quad core CPU. The HP Slatebook features a 14 inch diagonal FHD BrightView WLED-backlit display touchscreen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Let us take a look at the detailed tech specs sheet of the new HP notebook to uncover the details about its features and see if they live up to its pricing.

The new HP Slatebook comes with a Dual Channel support and an on-board 2GB DDR3L SDRAM. Along with that, the slatebook packs inside it three internal storage variants - 16GB eMMC (WiFi only), 32GB8 and 64GB eMMC (WiFi only) versions. Weighing 3.75 lb, the HP Slatebook 14 sports Beats Audio Quad speakers and a front-facing HP TrueVision HD Webcam that comes with integrated digital microphone.

Among the connectivity features that the Slatebook offers, there's 802.11b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth, whereas the ports and connectors list includes - USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI version 1.4b and Headphone-out/microphone-in combo jack.

HP has launched this Slatebook along side two touch convertible PCs - the new HP ENVY x360 and the next-generation HP Pavilion x360, as aslo HP Chromebook and HP Split x2. The HP SlateBook is expected to be available in the United States on July 20 for a starting price of $429.99.

    This So called notebook is not worth without an external hard drive, due to its low internal storage...
    BTW it is very nice and essential attempt by HP to bring an android powered notebook.
    Expecting increased internal storage from next product
