These days it’s difficult to carry a mouse everywhere with you as many people are not comfortable with the touch pad. So, there is a good news for you all. Hewlett-Packard has revealed its first wireless mobile mouse, which it says is the first one in the market to connect using Wi-Fi. The mouse looks just like any other computer mouse, but the difference is that it won’t require an easily misplaced USB dongle to connect with a PC. HP says the mouse will provide longer connectivity than Bluetooth and other wireless mice available in the market.

#-Link-Snipped-#The new mouse can be connected without often-scarce USB port, which will be of great relief to the often-travelling users as only such users can understand the real benefit of a spare USB port on their laptop. The mouse comes with a nine-month battery life and can be easily connected with the computer in a few seconds. The mouse will be connected to your computer’s inbuilt Wi-Fi receiver and the other wireless devices can’t interfere between the connectivity. However, the mouse will only connect with a computer that is equipped with Windows 7. The mouse is designed to function with a Windows 7 - Certified Wi-Fi receiver, which is available only with Windows 7.

The mouse’s range is 30 feet, which is similar to the distance most Bluetooth mice available in the market can operate. Other than this distinct Wi-Fi trick, the mouse is just like any other computer mouse with same features. This ambidextrous mouse constitutes 1200 to 1600dpi resolution with the help of laser sensitivity that works on most of the surfaces. The mouse also features five customizable buttons, a four way tilt scroll with a familiar looking form factor. The HP Wi-Fi mouse will be available in June for around $50. This Wi-Fi mouse can be a boon for travelling computer users.
