HP already, has a fair number of affordable Windows tablets like HP Stream 8, Stream 7 and with Pro Tablet 408, HP wants to offer more to its users. The HP Pro Tablet 408 is an 8-inch light and thin Windows tablet with more memory, bigger and better camera than the Stream 8 and supports digital pen input. Although, the company claims the business tablet to be at an entry level price but the exact price of the tablet is still kept under the wraps.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the tablet flaunts an 8-inch (1280x800 pixel) IPS display with 10-point multitouch and runs on Windows 8.1. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor along with 2GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The tablet sports an 8MP HD rear camera with autofocus, flash and 2MP HD fixed-focus front camera. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, dual stereo speakers, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, micro HDMI output and WiDi wireless display support.
