HP Folio 13 - The HP's First Business Ultrabook™ - Available From Dec. 7, Pricing Starts At $899

With HP Folio 13, HP has made it's entry into the Ultrabook bandwagon to join the likes of Asus, Lenovo and Toshiba. HP's first "Business Ultrabook" comes with tech specs such as Weight of 3.3-pound, Height 0.7-inch, display is 13.3-inch (1366 x 768 pixel) and can be configured on Microsoft Windows® 7 operating systems (including Windows 7 Professional). HP Folio 13 runs of Intel® Core™ processors with Rapid Start Technology to boot your laptop faster & comes bundled with Backlit Keyboard for those of us who use it in low-light places on the run. It has SSD with 128 gigabytes GB of storage.

On the security front, HP says, one of its models will feature TPM Embedded Security Chip to protect your hard-drive information & email data. To ensure that your Ultrabook does not get heated up, you have HP CoolSense technology and there is multi-touch gesture support with HP ImagePad. Webcam is HP TrueVision HD, but sadly no Beats for audio. This Ultrabook has Dolby Advanced Audio system.

What remains to be seen is the validity of HP's claims that Folio 13 delivers upto 9 hours of battery life. Crawford Del Prete, executive vice president, Worldwide Research Products, and chief research officer, IDC said in the HP Press Release, “This category of product breaks new ground and will be a likely choice for businesses to offer to employees looking for a more consumer-centric experience,” and “We expect Ultrabooks will re-ignite interest in the small form factor PC category, and by 2015 expect 95 million Ultrabooks will be shipping worldwide annually.”

HP Folio 13 is awesomely priced at $899.99 giving it the little edge over Macbook Air, #-Link-Snipped-# and #-Link-Snipped-#.
