    i am a communication engineer..but i have stopped participating my engineering ...i am working now in a very different field...i need help on how to be updated with the latest technology and to improve my knowledge and experience in electrical and electronics engineering

    Other than the above, you can also keep track by reading IEEE Spectrum and PopSci online.

    If you can afford it, being a member of IEEE will also let you have access to periodicals, including on fields like Communications or Signals and Systems. Though these content is more towards research rather than commercial technology. Still interesting to read though.
