Is it possible to make calls over internet using my existing Mobile no?

you can install voip apps such as nimbus and call from your mobile phone .

Just one question, before i start my search on it

Is it possible that i can just convert my phone no to voip,,

I mean say if some one wants to make voip call to me , he will use my mobile no and if i want to call some one , my own mobile no will be displayed at receiver side(I doubt this case)

Yes, you can port your existing number to a VOIP provider.

However, it depends on the country you are talking about and the local laws, whether IP telephone is legalized or not. For example, in India IP telephony is not legal. Thus there are no VOIP numbers in India. It was legal in Pakistan, but it has been made illegal some time back.
