Hi 😀 I'm confused about my syllabus. The subject name is Computer Programming and Utilization (subject code: 110003). I've "Programming in ANSI C, Forth Edition, E Balagurusamy, TMH" book.
And I couldn't found these topics:

1 Introduction to computer and programming
Introduction, Basic block diagram and functions of various components of
computer, Concept of Hardware and Software, Types of software, Compiler and
Interpreter, Concepts of Machine level, Assembly level and High level
programming, Flow charts and Algorithms.

I really don't understand how to find proper topic information. for example if I search on google for any topic it comes up with lots of information. I'm not sure where to go and which information is good for exams and studies.

In other words, if "earth" is the topic, and you search for earth, you'll get lots of information. But we can't prepare/remember all. How do I know that this is the right info for exams and studies?
Any suggestion, solution or guidance will be highly appreciated 😀

The best way to approach this is to first read the topic from the recommended/popular textbook and list out very specific questions. You'll find answer to those questions on the Internet. Alternatively, you can post those questions here on CE so that CEans can help you out.

In my school we were reading for a text book chapter-wise. And I was preparing the "Questions and Answers" only. That was easy to understand and easy to score. Engineering seems difficult, there is no text book. We have to find the topics and prepare from reference books or internet, it's like we're writing our own text book!

    Okay, no problem 😀

Engineering is not difficult. It's one of the most interesting studies on the planet. It's just that it's taught in a very boring way. If there are no textbooks, no need to worry. The internet is full of resources you need. Begin searching for the topics and read as much as you can, list out specific questions and post them here. That'd be a better way of studying and you can ask unlimited number of questions. Wikipedia is always a great place to start learning the basics.

You can even list out doubts, difficult concepts and ask relevant questions. CEans love to help.

As you're new in C language, I will suggest you to buy #-Link-Snipped-#.
It's best book I have ever read, with tons of important notes, tips & tweaks.
I have it in pdf format, Unfortunately the size is more than 9 MB so i can't link here.

Okay I'll buy it 😀 And if I read that ebook then I can score in exams?
Sometimes, I know the answers but I get confused when they twist the question.

Totally agreed! Engineering is interesting!! I don't understand when few people regret for taking B.E/B.Tech. Instead they must be proud.

You score or don't , that doesn't matter. Just learn the concepts, understand. If you don't score well the first time you get a chance to improve the next time. But if you are studying in one of the affiliated colleges to Anna university then just don't bother about the marks.

Hey I am sorry! Just now saw your syllabus. It is Gujarat Technological University and I do not know about your pattern. Didn't notice. Sorry 😔

I will be honest,Just reading won't get you good marks. and when it comes to C; it's not anyother subject like History,in which you read & understand & will pass. In order to learn C, you gotta code it, you gotta practice it. It's something like mathematics.

Sorry I don't want to de-motivate you, but "truth has to be told".
You'll easily score good marks, fikar not 😉

You're awesome 😀 Just started coding programs, my first program is "Hello World" 😁 sounds stupid, but anyway, I'm learning...
And just found some topics on internet, But I've some kind of fear inside me, I can't breath when someone ask me questions and I don't have answers, especially in exams 😀...
