How much Time it take for the same Work ?

Sir / madam,
My question is

Some work is done by two people in 24 minutes. One of them can do this work alone in 40 minutes. How much time does the second person take to do the same work ?
a. 48 Min
b. 16 Min
c. 72 Min
d. 60 Min

    let us give a value to the total amount of work =x
    person a: 40 mins. --> x
    24 mins. --> 24x/40

    person b: y mins. -->x
    24mins -->24x/y

    when working together , they complete the whole work in 24 mins.

    therefore,
    24x/40 +24x/y = x
    y=60 mins..
    hence , person b completes the same work in 60 minutes.
