HotBlack Analog Smartwatch Delivers Football Scores To Your Wrist
Amid the frenzy of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, exotic watchmaker Richard Hoptroff of the United Kingdom has designed an analog smartwatch that is able to show live football scores with the help of its dials. The HotBlack smartwatch hooks up to your Android or iOS device with the help of Bluetooth. When there are no matches, the extra dials on the watch serve as a date indicator but when a football match is underway these dials show the score of the two competing teams. A small dial located on the bottom of the watch shows you how much time has elapsed in the game. It has three sectors first half, second half and extra time. This dial functions as a wiper sweep second indicator rest of the time. To help you get a better idea of how the HotBlack works we have embedded the following photograph below.
Unlike other mainstream smartwatch makers who use plastic to manufacture the body, Hoptroff has made the HotBlack from premium materials. The body is made out of brushed stainless steel and the internal components are Swiss. He has put up the details of the project on #-Link-Snipped-# and is hoping to collect £23,000 in 30 days. As of this writing the team has managed to garner £3,288 from 14 backers. While early backers will get the HotBlack for £400 others have to spend £600 to £700. Better off customers can even go for a custom engraved watch for £1500.
The only problem we see with this smartwatch is that it serves just one purpose for a lot of money. If you own a Galaxy Gear, Moto 360 or a Sony Smartwatch you will be able to do a lot more than just check football score for lot less.
