Honda City VX(O) Featuring Integrated AVN And More Unveiled In India

Honda Cars India is definitely proud of its four-wheeler sedan Honda City, which sells like hot cakes all acroos the country. It has announced a new version of the car titled Honda City VX(O). Priced at Rs. 10,64,000 for the MT i-VTEC (petrol) variant and Rs. 11,83,500 for the MT i-DTEC (diesel) variant both ex-showroom New Delhi, the all new VX(O) Honda City hopes to retain its position as one of the hottest selling sedans in the country in the year 2015. Last year, the company had announced the launch of New Honda City 2014 Features & Specs Detailed, Petrol & Diesel Variants Launched In India and the tag line 'The Greater Drive' stuck with it. The popularity of the 4th-generation Honda City was marked by its blasting 1 lakh sales in just 15 months. This time around, the new Honda City is set to feature advanced Audio Visual Navigation (AVN) with touchscreen integrated with the interiors. The company has positioned the new variant above the current VX grade in Manual Transmission in both petrol & diesel versions.

Let's find out more about the new AVN system, which is the major attraction in the VX(O) variant. Coming with a big 15.7 cm touchscreen, the navigation system gets voice-guided satellite based turn by turn instructions. The riders can make use of the suggestive keyboard for searching their destination on any other locations on the map. For the driver's comfort and fun, there's a complete in-car entertainment system which includes CD/DVD player, Bluetooth, Auxiliary & USB connectivity for syncing phone, i-POD, FM/AM radio and MP3 player. They system also has a rear camera display that shows guidelines when taking a reverse.

Apart from the AVN system, the new Honda City brings Security Alarm feature too. The company has decided to introduce keyless entry from all variant of Honda City (S grade onwards). Coming to the grade, the new 4th-gen Honda City is now available in 14 variants - SV & VX-CVT in petrol and E, S, SV, V, VX AND VX(O) in diesel & petrol MT versions.​

Spicing up the looks to suit the needs of all kinds of customers, Honda City will now be coming in a new White Orchid Pearl colour variant, apart from the existing golden brown, carnelian red, alabaster silver, urban titanium and taffeta white colours.​
