high voltage transformers

Can anyone tell me the maximum primary voltage for which high voltage transformer can be practically designed these days?

    depends mostly on MVA ratings ,these days 765Kv lines are also laid!!!we can go upto that!!! and i am not aware what is a upper limit for power transformers !!!

    It also depends very much on te demand of the client for which a particar company prepares a job.

    There are as high as 1000MVA transformers made!!
