What is the purpose of Hexagonal Mounting Hub ? I have seen this Mounting Hub in Electric motors ?

    What is the purpose of Hexagonal Mounting Hub ?
    There could be some play in the mounting bolts. The hex hub may assist in a more precise location of the shaft. Just a guess.
