This festive season, a breeze of fresh air enters India's 100 cc bike segment as Hero MotoCorp launches two new motorcycles named Hero Splendor Pro Classic, India's first café racer style bike and Hero Passion Pro TR, a 100 cc bike that is intended to appeal the youth of the nation. With two radically different tastes, the Splendor Pro Classic and Passion Pro TR are set to hit Indian roads at a price of Rs. 48,650/- and Rs. 51,550/- (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. Let us take a look at the specifications and features highlighted by the company to find out what these machines have to offer the owner.

Starting with Hero Splendor Pro Classic, we have a bike inspired by the café racer styling developed among British motorcycle enthusiasts during the early 1960s. Reminding you of the yesteryears, the new Classic Splendor Pro features cafe racer style single seat, vintage style graphics and cafe cowl and round front and rear lights. The bike's specs speak of an air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder 97.2 cc engine that delivers a max power of 6.15 kW (8.36 Ps) at 8000 rpm and max torque of 0.82 Kg-m (8.05 N-m) @ 5000 rpm.

The 18 x 1.60 rim front and rear cast wheels are coupled with 240 mm disc front brake and 130 mm rear drum brake.

Available in two colors - Solid Maroon and Carbon black and being promoted with the bold tagline 'Karo celebrate Singlehood', the Splendor Pro Classic might gather a good amount of admirers, who appreciate a good in-budget vintage style two-wheeler. Moving on to the next bike from today's launch, we have a bike that hopes to grab the attention of thousands of youth in India. Let's take a look at the specs and features of Hero Passion Pro RT to find out if it can cater to the needs of daily commuters.

The Hero guys are experimenting to attract the Cafe Racer style bike lovers to join the Hero brand. Good experiment. Never say never to experiment & try.😀

A lot of people seem to have a bad opinion about the looks of Hero Passion Pro RT. There's nothing appealing about it they say.

Also, anyone here thinks that the bikes should've been in the 110cc segment?

A lot of talks going on around the e-town about why Hero didn't increase the power and displacement of engine when introducing these bikes.

Anyone here a fan of cafe racer style bikes? I think the price might be quite attractive for some.

Splendor classic with 180-250 CC would be good, the bike looks classic, but the engine looks very small and same old wala.
