Have you heard of the G O I initiative AGNIi to bring R&D results to the market?

The Prime Ministers’ Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC) in its first meeting recently in New Delhi set some clear objectives and directions for a number of key projects that would stimulate a pathway for scientific research leading to technological innovation and entrepreneurship. The council is chaired by Dr. K. VijayRaghavan, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
During the meeting, a number of key projects and their direction were discussed including AGNIi (Accelerating Growth of New India’s Innovations).
Over the past four years, the start-up and entrepreneurship ecosystem has grown enormously. Now, a challenge is to take the many successes from here, and from our national laboratories and universities, and scale them for mass market consumption. AGNIi will help successful technologies with business and development advice in order to become national and global successes.
