Have A Glimpse At Nokia's Windows Phone 7
If you are looking forward to buy a high profile mobile phone, here is some information that you should definitely know. The two corporate as well as technical giants who are almost running a monopoly market have launched a new model of a cell phone. It is the Nokia windows phone 7. The mobile giants used the Mobile world congress in Barcelona to display 2 windows phone 7 concept devices.
These models are slim and sleek but the company made no mention as to when these models would be available in the market. In its news released on Friday, it says that Nokia will adopt the windows phone as its primary smart phone strategy. They also talked about the things needed to compete the Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android. Nokia will contribute to its hardware and the language support to the partnership to a larger range of market price and the market segments as written in an open letter from Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. With this new strategy, Nokia is hoping that it will put an end to the downfall which started way back in 2007 with the launch of Apple’s iPhone and Google Android.

When Nokia’s Smartphone market share was 50% foe the full year, apple’s was 2.7%. by the 4<sup>th</sup> quarter of 2010 the market share of Nokia had dropped to 30.8% and that of apple had increased to 16%. With Windows Phone 7, Nokia will have access to an operating system that can compete with Apple's iPhone and Android, something the company hasn't been able to produce itself. Currently, Samsung, LG and HTC are all focused on Android ahead of Windows Phone 7. This scenario will soon change as Nokia brings in its channel network and production capacity.
