Happy New Year 2010!

Dear family members,

In November 2009, we completed 4 years of our operations online. One of the most remarkable thing that happened on CE was incorporation of CE as "CrazyEngineers Technologies Private Limited". Now with a great start, we are entering a new year and we all should come closer to make it very special.

I wish to keep the secrets [all surprises for you] hidden, but also wish to promise you that you will see lot of fresh new stuff frequently on CE. All you should know is we all are going to have a great time together in this year. The work has already began! 😀

If you are keeping up with our first ever promotional initiative; I'm glad to inform you that the first batch of our posters [notices] have been dispatched to about 99 colleges in Maharashtra (India). Second batch [to about 500 colleges] will be dispatched over the next week. All updates on this in a separate thread in feedback section of CE Forums.

What this means is, if successful, we'll see lot of new members joining CE and overall activity on CE going up. We'll have lot of new talented members joining us and contributing awesome content.

This year, in November 2010, we will celebrate our 5th Anniversary [CrazyEngineers Day], and we wish to make the event a grand one. We may aim for a big offline meet where CEans will be able to meet fellow CEans personally. We all will have to start planning for this well in advance.

We are also working on making changes to the forum and make it faster and easier to access. You will hear about this through announcements in coming few days.

To keep up with our growth and keep things under control, we'll expand our moderator team. Most active and value contributors will be picked up from our members to shoulder the responsibility of moderating the forum.

We also plan to start hiring on CE. Those who are interested in working with CE [part time, full time] will be presented with opportunities. No matter where you are located on the Earth; you will still be able to work for CE 😀 . More on this, coming soon.

We are working on organizing more competitions on CE. Currently the aim is to host at least 1 competition per month. You may expect a competition coming up this month in which everyone will be able to participate. The good/bad part is - the competition is not going to be technical.

This is just a trailer of what you can expect in 2010. Plus the surprises and few secrets revealed.
