Guard traces for critical signals in PCB? Does it really protect!

Why we need guard traces for critical signals like video or audio analog signals....

is it really plays good role in eliminating interference... or any other remedy is there?๐Ÿ˜

Yes, Guard traces do help a lot in reducing adjacent channel interferences in analog signals. It depends on your interference level requirement. If it is very strict, you may surely need a guard trace. If not, just keeping the traces a few mms apart should suffice.
