Though i dont know the answeres, but i think neither 3 nor 5 can be the answeres to this question. This is so because when 32,162,237 is divided by 3 or 5, we get 2 as remainder.
But the question says that the remainder should be same as the divisor....

If wrong, please correct me..

@Deepika---> Remainder should be same in all cases.....

Can you please try the same for these numbers : -

62,132 and 237

And please post your method also.

The method which i am following is as:

If I have to test a number 'x' for the solution then, (32,162,237-x)mod x=0.

and why are you sorry blunderboy....??

@deepika is it compulsory that remainder should always be 0(according to ur method), as we can see remainder in the 1st example is non zero and can be anything

I said sorry because i gave wrong numbers first time.
Actually numbers are 62,132,237.

I am not getting your solution beacuse its very difficult to find the value of x.
As far as i think..

Ok now I got it. You mean numbers are 62,132 and 237. I thought its a single number as 62132237.

Its answer is 35.

62 % 35 =27 (35x1=35)

132%35=27 (35x3=105)

237 % 35=27 (35x6=210)

Now think of its solution.

35 may be answer of 62,132,237 but i solved for 32,162,237 and its answer is :5
