Google's buying Admob for $750m on Wednesday

Google is buying mobile advertising startup, Admob for $750 million. The deal was first announced in November 2009. The FTC will decide whether to approve this deal or not today. The FTC has closely monitored the deal as Google did lot of lobbying to get the deal approved. The Wall Street Journal mentions that The U.S. Federal Trade Commission sees Google Inc.'s (GOOG) pending acquisition of mobile advertising company AdMob Inc. as a potential "three-to-two merger" that would reduce competition in a narrowly defined market..." The big question is whether this deal is a threat to the competition? Admob's closest rival #-Link-Snipped-# is not scared. They have wrote to the FTC asking for the approval of the deal.
