According to IANS Report, Tarun Vijay said that Google should be charged for violating India's defense regulations on maps.

Tarun Vijay quoted in report, "Restrict them, invoke the relevant law to book a case against them, interrogate their CEO in India and make them surrender all data illegally stored to the Survey of India. The law must prevail, however influential such agencies might be."

He also blamed Google for breaking norms by running map India campaign without any permission of high-level authorities.

Google's Map which shows every minute geographical details of the country can be threat to security of India where Terrorists attacks are happening every now & then.

This kind of issue was happened when Google launched Google earth.
The ammunition factory in Pune was visible completely, its main entrance, exit, everything was visible. Then the company management had to change the entire entrance, exit and other layout of the factory.

Basically, the high level authority should have such power who can check such products, test them to make sure there is no security threat to the nation.
I don't know whether its true or not, the terrorists in 26/11 attack was trained in Google earth as you can see everything in its street view.
A Japanese lady even tried to sue Google for this, as her one of the relative saw her undergarments in her terrace.

The more open, the more dangerous.
One can't really deny the fact that when every single detail is known, there is a greater chance of threat.

Google's uncontrolled manner in offering specific geographic details of every corner of the country is indeed very creepy. 👀
