Google to offer e-book store strting early 2010

In a move to fight Amazon's Kindle, Google's planning to offer online ebook store which will work on any device with a browser.

Google will host the ebooks and the content will be searchable.

    Google had patented a scanning procedure "(optical character Recognition)where the picture of the character( scanned print) is again turned back into the character in digital format thus resulting PDF to be viewed as HTML pages.
    By the way! Will authors co0operate for this?Its equivalent to piracy unless the author is paid.
