To be in the current market and provide a tough competition to Amazon Web Services and those offered by Microsoft, Google has plans to add a persistent flash storage and use the load balancing technique to improve upon its Cloud platform.
Google has plans to add two new storage and some networking features to provide its user with tremendous functionality along with an ease of use. It is using HTTP load balancing technique across various regions which focuses on shifting the load on computing resources automatically from one data center to another. It is said to provide better opportunity to both its users and developers to allow them a better computing experience along with cheapest possible costs.
Various algorithms are used to shift the load from one data center to another and Google uses same IP Address for it's entire cloud. Andromeda Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform is the main feature behind Google’s cloud platform.
This technique is said to ease the work for the developer as it takes all incoming requests and redirects them through it’s own equipment providing benefit to both developer and the users of the Google Cloud platform. The persistent storage and the load balancing technique are in a limited preview for now.
